“Remedy (4). The fourth remedy against this device of Satan, is seriously to consider,“
_That there is great danger, yea, many times most danger, in the smallest sins._“

‘_A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump_,’ (**1 Cor. 5:6**)

A little hole in the ship sinks it.

A small breach in a sea-bank carries away all before it.

A little stab at the heart kills a man.

And a little sin, without a great deal of mercy, will damn a man.”
